Interviews with Evers, Andrekopoulos (AUDIO)
For the record, here are the complete phone interviews I did Thursday with Department of Public Instruction Superintendent Tony Evers and Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent Bill Andrekopoulos, for my report on DPI’s notice that it’s ready to begin the process of withholding public federal funds from MPS. You won’t hear Mr. Evers use the word “reprehensible” here: that comment, which he made in response to my suggestion that this action is linked to the mayoral control debate, came before I started recording our conversation.
